Biography
Dr. Danielle Labossière is a cognitive psychologist who teaches Psychology 100 and 101, Adolescent Development, Cognitive Psychology, and Theories of Personality. In previous years, she has taught at the University of Manitoba, Université Saint-Boniface, St. Thomas More College of the University of Saskatchewan, and Memorial University (Grenfell Campus) on topics of cognition, memory, and emotion, as well as research methods, behavior modification, development, and personality.
Research Interest
Her research interests are centered on human performance and the interactions between attention, memory, and emotion. Her most current research has focused on investigating the consequences that recent perceptual and attentional experiences involving stimuli with emotional dimensions have on perception. Other continued research interests relate to the role of the heuristic use of subjective aspects of cognitive processes in decision making and on forming judgments.
