Biography
Doug Alards-Tomalin is a cognitive psychologist with a focus on attention, perception and sensation. Generally, he’s interested in how people form intuitive perceptual assessments of the world around them, and how understanding these rapid processes can help guide us in developing policy and educational tools.
Research Interest
Doug’s research interests include: time perception, numeracy, statistical learning, and audition. Doug has instructed courses in research methods, behavioural statistics, introduction to psychology, physiological psychology, the psychology gender, and the psychology of women at the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg.
