Biography
Eugene arrived at Capilano University after following his passion for science and teaching. He obtained an undergraduate degree in molecular biology and biochemistry at Simon Fraser University where he had several co-op jobs and lab placements that reinforced his love of science. Eugene went on to complete his PhD in pathology and laboratory medicine at the University of British Columbia. His research focused on determining how manipulating the behavior of a specific immune cell would affect its potential to contribute to heart disease.
