Biography
h.D. (University of British Columbia); Major: Special Education - Autism. M.A. (University of British Columbia); Major: Special Education – Autism. M.Ed. (University of British Columbia); Major: Counselling Psychology. B.A. (Hons) (Simon Fraser University); Major: Psychology. Dr. Elfert is the Program Coordinator and a faculty member in the Applied Behaviour Analysis – Autism Department at Capilano University. She has also been a faculty member at Douglas College and an adjunct professor in the department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at the University of British Columbia.
Research Interest
Her scholarly and clinical interests include applied behaviour analysis, behavioural intervention, regulation of behaviour analysis practitioners, and the psychological experiences of parents, particularly fathers, of children with special needs.
