Biography
Paul as a child had spent many hours looking at the dinosaurs in the American Museum of Natural History, and trying to catch their living relatives in the woods behind his home. After accumulating several biology degrees, including a Ph.D. from Rutgers University, he worked as a consultant in the field of ecological restoration before becoming a full-time university teacher. Paul joined the Capilano Biology Department in 2000. He teaches a wide variety of biology courses and is also involved in the Global Stewardship Program, the Liberal Studies BA Program, Earthworks, and the University Senate. Although he has now reached respectable middle-age he still has a favourite dinosaur.
