Biography
Ramjee Parajulee has published a book on “Democratic Transition in Nepal” and other articles on democracy, politics, and development. He obtained his BA and MA in Political Science from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. As a Fulbright scholar, he attended Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and received his MS in Foreign Service. He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from George Washington University located in Washington D.C. where he worked as a Research Fellow and completed a research project on democratic transition in developing societies. Besides the academic and professional work, he enjoys hiking, playing badminton, listening to classical music, and reading contemporary literature.
Research Interest
Ramjee teaches courses in global politics, international organizations, comparative government/politics (focusing mainly in Asian politics and American politics), political theory and ideology
