Rick Davies

Biography

Rick has designed and run courses in Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, the Solomon Islands, Paraguay, the U.S. and across Canada.  Specializing in corporate leadership and management training, Rick’s background in adventure tourism and outdoor recreation has enabled him to deliver curricula in the office or boardroom, as well as on the water (via kayak and sailboat) and in the mountains (on skis or in a wilderness cabin). Apart from running his own training business since 1984, Rick was Training Manager for Blackcomb Mountain at Whistler for four years, where he designed and delivered management and leadership training, as well as career-pathing for management.  Rick’s award-winning training department oversaw the entire training of Blackcomb’s permanent management and seasonal staff.  He has also served twelve years in the Royal New Zealand Navy, five years as a trainer for Xerox and five years as Training Manager for Richmond Savings Credit Union.
