Alison Bailey

Biography

Alison is an alumna of Capilano's Retail Management Program.  She joined the School of Communication team in 2013 and handles everything from inquiries, applications and registration to class scheduling, faculty meetings and office systems.  Prior to this, Alison was an integral part of the Office of Development and Alumni Relations team.  She began her career at Capilano College over 21 years ago as a Program Assistant in the Asia Pacific Management Cooperative Program. She honed her skills in event coordination and public relations travelling to Asia each year to assist with the coordination of the student mid-term conference.  Alison was also the point person for all alumni inquiries spanning world-wide.  In addition, she has worked in the private sector as a Show Coordinator for 3 successful consumer shows as well as an Administrative Assistant for the publisher of the Expo '86 World Festival Magazine.
