Biography
Nicolas Mottet serves as Head of the Department of Urology of Clinique Mutualiste in Saint Etienne, France. Dr. Mottet serves as Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Caprion Proteomics Inc. Dr. Mottet serves as Coordinator of the Testis and Penis cancer subgroup for the Oncologic committee of the French Urological Association and secretary of the Urologic study group for the National Federation of anti-Cancer Centers. Dr. Mottet served as Scientific Advisor of Caprion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Dr. Mottet serves as on the scientific advisory board of several pharmaceutical and biotech companies in urology and oncology drug development and clinical trials and has coordinated or participated to more than 35 clinical studies. He serves as Member of several scientific and medical societies, including the American, the European and the French Urology Associations, and the European and the American Societies of Clinical Oncology. He is also a Member of the New York Science Academy. Dr. Mottet has received several peer reviewed grants and is currently coordinating studies on prostate and bladder cancer. He has published over 80 peer reviewed papers, mainly on urologic oncology and prostatic disorders. Dr. Mottet is board certified in Surgery, Urology and Medical Oncology in France. Dr. Mottet obtained his MD and his PhD from University Montpellier I.
