Dr. Colin Godwin

Biography

Colin is President of Carey Theological College. Since 1996 Colin and his wife Karen have served cross-culturally in Europe and in Africa. Most recently Colin served as Africa Team Leader with Canadian Baptist Ministries. Prior to that posting, Colin served as an administrator and lecturer in a Rwandan seminary. Church planting is a passion and interest of his, having planted a church in Belgium as a young pastor. Colin’s PhD dissertation on sixteenth-century Anabaptist mission was published by Pandora Press in 2012. Colin and Karen have four children – Isaac, Andrew, Natalie, and Naomi. When Colin is not working at Carey Centre, you may see him running or biking around the UBC campus.
