Biography
Simon Buttery was appointed as the Managing Director for Carillion's International business on October 1, 2017. Simon has extensive international experience in Canada as President & CEO for Carillion Canada and most recently as the CEO of Carillion MENA. Simon joined Wimpey Construction as a graduate engineer in 1984 and spent over 18 years delivering a number of prestigious developments across all sectors for the UK construction business. In 2003, Simon moved out to the Middle East as a Project Director, delivering several notable world class developments in Oman and Dubai. Simon is a graduate of London South Bank University, where he studied Construction Engineering and Construction Management.
