Biography
Prof. Kabir received a BSc. in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2006, an MASc. in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal in 2011, and a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from McGill University, Montreal in 2015. From 2009 to 2011 he worked as a visiting student at the Aerospace Manufacturing Technology Center of the National Research Council Canada, Montreal. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the hot deformation and thermomechanical processing laboratory at McGill University for ten months. Dr. Kabir joined the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, at Carleton University as an Assistant Professor in July 2016.
