Biography
Jacques Maurice is a Chartered Accountant (CA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). He is also a fellow for all three accounting designations: FCPA, FCA and FCMA. In addition, he holds an MBA from McGill University with a concentration in Finance and Strategic Management. He was the author and lead instructor for the nationally run CMA Accelerated Program from 1999 to 2015. He was a member of the CPA Canada Certification Steering Committee from 2011 to 2013. This committee was charged with the development of the new CPA program. He was also the chair of the CPA Canada Transition Oversight Committee from 2013 – 2014. He is currently the co-chair of the CMA Competency Development Committee.
