Biography
Dr. Lorraine Dyke is Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President (Academic) at Carleton University. Her responsibilities include implementing the university’s strategic and academic plans and promoting program and curriculum development. She oversees the Office of Quality Assurance, the Carleton University Committee on Quality Assurance, and the implementation of Carleton’s Institutional Quality Assurance Process. Dr. Dyke is a Professor of Management and Strategy in the Sprott School of Business. She served most recently as Sprott’s Associate Dean, Professional Graduate Programs where she was responsible for developing the Master of Accounting and overseeing Sprott’s M.B.A. programs offered in Ottawa, Shanghai and Bogota. Dr. Dyke was also the founder and former Director of the Centre for Research and Education on Women and Work and the Management Development Program for Women at Carleton. Professor Dyke holds a B.A. in English Literature and M.B.A. and Ph.D. in Management.
