Biography
Peter Bishop is a lawyer, mediator and conflict resolution practitioner. He has a wide range of competencies in the human dynamics, methods, skills and strategies of conflict resolution. Peter has extensive experience, as mediator and lawyer, in mediations of employment, workplace, corporate, commercial, insurance, family, estate and other types of conflicts and civil disputes. He has consulted to various public and private sector clients on conflict management systems, mediation programs and other organizational issues. Peter has developed, delivered and participated in customized training programs for mediators, lawyers, human resource professionals, union and other personnel in the public and private sectors. Peter was the instructor for the undergraduate course Mediation 3006 in Carleton’s Department of Law & Legal Studies from 2000 to 2017. He has been a faculty member in Carleton’s Graduate Diploma Program in Conflict Resolution since 2011.

In mediations of employment, workplace, corporate, commercial, insurance, family, estate and other types of conflicts and civil disputes.
