Yana Klimava

Biography

Yana is an accomplished industrial design partner at Design 1st, one of Canada’s largest product development firms. While being immersed in visual arts from a young age, she was always intrigued by how physical products are made, how they work internally and how they interact with the user. She has worked with dozens of inventors, startups and large corporations to help transform their product visions into reality and enhance user value of their design ideas. At Design 1st, Yana is an integral part of a cohesive team of electronics, mechanical and manufacturing professionals who help companies bring clients bring products to market. Some of her interests include: painting, yoga, swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, running, languages and travel.
