Biography
Harold Norlund joined Catalyst in April 2014 as vice-president and general manager, Port Alberni Division, and brings to his new role at Crofton more than 20 years of cost-reduction and profitability-enhancement experience in operations management, including previous senior roles during his 15 years at the Crofton paper operations. He returned to Canada to join Catalyst after 12 years with NPIUSA Port Angeles, Washington, where he was the executive vice-president. Prior to that, Harold was general manager of the Abitibi Mackenzie paper mill. Harold graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba and is a Professional Engineer with APEGBC.
