Biography
Stew Gibson is vice-president, sourcing and technical services. Since joining Catalyst in 1990, Stew has held various leadership roles spanning project management and operations at Catalyst’s mills, including the role of general manager at the Powell River mill from 2008 to 2011. In addition to Stew’s nearly 25 years of technical experience, he provides leadership in aligning reinvestment into Catalyst’s assets to create a sustainable, competitive advantage for Catalyst in the marketplace. Stew holds a Masters of Engineering degree from the University of British Columbia, an EMBA from the Simon Fraser University Beedie School of Business and is a registered Professional Engineer with APEGBC.
