Biography
Walter Tarnowsky is vice-president and general manager, Port Alberni Division. Walter brings to this role over two decades of experience improving paper machine quality and productivity. After completing his Bachelor of Applied Science (Chemistry/Energy and Fuel Science) at Lakehead University, Walter began his career as Assistant Paper Machine Manager, joined Catalyst in 2000 as Paper Machine Manager, and progressed to Paper Mill Production Manager and then Director, Paper Mill Productivity, where he oversaw all mill productivity at Catalyst.
