Biography
Richard Berry is the Vice-President and CTO of CelluForce.He has been leading the development of NCCTM since the early 2000s and is a world-renowned expert in the field. He has numerous scientific accomplishments and vast experience overseeing the industrial application of his many inventions. He received NanoQuébec's prestigious 2009 Nano-Industry Award for his exceptional contribution to the development of NanoCrystalline Cellulose, as well as the 2014 TAPPI NanoDivision Technical Award. In addition to holding twenty four patents, his work has been published in more than a hundred articles and in two monographs.He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry and geology from Keele University in Staffordshire, England in 1975. In 1980, he earned a Ph.D. in chemistry from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
