Biography
Alexandre Provencher joined the CEP Civil Engineering team in January 2011. He completed his studies at McGill University in 2010 and obtained a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Specialised in structural and geotechnical engineering, he is currently undertaking graduate studies at École Polytechnique de Montréal. Alexandre also studied project management through the completion of a minor in Construction Engineering and Management. His field experience as a site inspector for municipal infrastructure rehabilitation as well as with the Quality Assurance department at SNC-Lavalin give him a strong comprehension of the Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes required in the vast domain of engineering and construction. As a forensic engineer, Alexandre carries out on-site accident investigations and prepares forensic reports. He also carries out laboratory tests and simulations to verify hypotheses on the nature and cause of an accident.
