Biography
Farhan Ibrahim holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and as well as a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Ottawa. Before joining the CEP team, Farhan worked as a Field Engineer and a Structural Engineer for several engineering consulting firms. Farhan has extensive experience in structural design and review of steel, concrete, masonry and wood buildings using the applicable CSA and National Building code of Canada and Ontario Building Code. As a Forensic Investigator, Farhan conducts site investigations and prepares technical evaluation reports. He also ensures compliance of elements with standards and good practices. When necessary, he performs laboratory testing, and structural modelling to validate to his hypotheses related to the nature and cause of accidents.
