Biography
As National Director, Management of Practices, Mr. Éric Chainé has the mandate to maximize knowledge sharing between experts and skill development. As a forensic engineer, Éric carries out on-site accident investigations and prepares expert reports. During his years as a forensic engineer, he has conducted laboratory tests and simulations to verify hypotheses on the nature and cause of accidents. Éric is a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) from the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) from the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI). He has carried out over 1,500 investigations and has been recognized as an expert witness in numerous court cases.
