Biography
David Wesche MD, PhD joined Certara Strategic Consulting in August 2013. He currently is a full-time consultant to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. At the Foundation, David supports the Global Health Program, Integrated Development, and Quantitative Sciences, applying his clinical pharmacology and drug-developmment expertise to the Malaria and Neglected Tropical Disease investment teams. Over the years, David has applied clinical pharmacology thinking and model-based drug development in government and pharmaceutical industry positions. He has experience in multiple therapeutic areas, with a predominant focus on CNS, pain, orphan and tropical diseases. Dr. Wesche has authored or co-authored multiple peer-reviewed papers and conference abstracts.
