Biography
Mason Slaine is Chairman and principal owner of FT Media Holdings LLC. He is also a Director and investor in Scribestar PLC, RS Energy Holdings Inc, Ipan GMBH, and Bureau Van Djik. From 2010 to 2015, Mr. Slaine was Executive Chairman of Interactive Data Corporation (IDC). IDC was acquired in December, 2015 by The Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). He was previously a principal owner and Director of iParadigms LLC, the publisher of turnitin.com; Chairman, President, and CEO, as well as a principal investor, in MLM Information Services, a leading vendor of corporate tax compliance software and services; and Chairman and CEO of Information Holdings, Inc. (IHI), an information and software provider in the intellectual property, science, and health care fields that he co- founded in 1997 and was listed on the New York Stock Exchange from 1998 to 2004. IHI was acquired by The Thomson Corporation (now Thomson Reuters) in 2004. Mr. Slaine holds an AB, magna cum laude, from Amherst College and an MBA from Harvard University.
