Biography
Yuan Xiong joined Certara Strategic Consulting in 2016 as Associate Director, Consulting Services. With 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D, Dr. Xiong has in-depth hands-on experience of population PK/PD modeling, clinical trial simulations, and systems pharmacology in therapeutic areas such as infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, ophthalmology, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, neuroscience and oncology. Additionally, Dr. Xiong has strong research & development experience in mathematical modeling of complex biological and physiological systems, disease models, cell signaling pathways, stochastic simulations, and biomedical image processing and analysis; proficient in MATLAB, PhysioLab, SBPOP2, and COMSOL Multiphysics, and familiar with C/C++, Mathematica, and Linux.
