Gregory d. salah

Biography

Greg Salah is Senior Vice President and President, North America. He has P&L responsibility for USG’s market leading North American business which includes wallboard, surfaces, ceilings and performance substrates. Salah joined USG in 1985 as a sales representative, and went on to accept many leadership roles in his 30 years with the company.  He is a sought-after resource for counsel and leadership, with solid expertise in sales, sales management, marketing and general management. Salah contributed significantly to several key corporate and product initiatives, including the development and launch of USG Sheetrock® Brand UltraLight wallboard, which has redefined building industry standards. Most recently, he led the consolidation of USG’s United States, Canadian and Latin American businesses into one North American unit to enhance efficiency and customer service across business cycles. Salah serves as a board member for Mercy Housing and was a board member of the Ceilings & Interior Systems Construction Association (CISCA). Salah holds an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA in marketing from DePaul University.
