Biography

Matthew F. Hilzinger is executive vice president and chief financial officer, USG Corporation. Hilzinger received his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1985 from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and received his certification as a certified public accountant in 1987. Prior to joining USG in 2012, Hilzinger’s career spanned more than twenty years of financial and operating experience in a variety of international and domestic operations. His previous positions include senior vice president and chief financial officer with Exelon Corporation; vice president and corporate controller with Exelon; and vice president, controller, assistant treasurer and divisional vice president, logistics finance and planning with Kmart. Hilzinger previously held various financial and operating positions at Handleman Company. He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Detroit.
