Biography
Sean M. Gillen is Vice President and Treasurer, USG Corporation. He is responsible for the leadership and direction of the treasury function, including capital strategy and structure, banking activities, investor relations, financial shared services and rating agency relationships. He is also responsible for hedging strategies, merger and acquisitions and the management of USG’s pension fund. Prior to USG, Gillen was employed at Goldman, Sachs & Company in the investment banking area. He has deep experience in developing the strategy and financing of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and corporate spin-offs, as well as management of shareholder activism, capital return programs and debt financings. Gillen has a degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
