Alper Ozer

Biography

Alper is part Project Manager and part Philosopher. Using his own, custom blend of coaching and mentorship, he’s proud to provide his team with what he calls “a safe and inspiring work environment” to bring about incredible things for his clients in Saudi Arabia. After joining CH2M in 2015, Alper began working as a Project Manager in the 2ndindustrial city of Dammam on the Water Treatment Plant project. In this role, he leads staff in the supervision of the project’s construction work. Alper also supports other projects in the Kingdom and acts as Hiring Manager for the water group in Saudi Arabia. Alper says that the best part of his job is figuring out how to overcome each project’s challenges. “Every challenge we face in life brings out the best out of us. This is especially true in the life of a project. With every obstacle we encounter, we evolve, grow and learn about our own limits, and when faced with an unexpected event, the fruitful outcome of making the correct decision improves our self-esteem and increases our knowledge base. But that’s how we get stronger, that’s how we achieve success – by solving problems and overcoming challenges.” He mentions, “Our reputation and the way we do business in the region are what bring people to work with us in Saudi Arabia. That and at CH2M, everyone cares about one another. Your supervisors care, and they support you in every way, in every decision.
