Biography
A project manager and water engineer in Krakow and Wroclaw, Poland, BartÅ‚omiej Maor brings more than 10 years of experience in technologies for water and wastewater treatment, sewerage systems, drainage and water systems as well as in the International Federation of Consulting Engineers Conditions of Contract. He joined CH2M in 2009 and quickly found the opportunity to work with senior experts who helped him advance his knowledge in design, project execution and management. Since joining CH2M, BartÅ‚omiej has been involved in several water and wastewater projects, including the development of a master plan for the city of Åódź, construction of the water supply and sanitary sewerage in Lublin, environmental impact reports, and the completion of feasibility studies for different water companies and local authorities. Our collaborative culture helps us engage both the most experienced and fairly junior colleagues in our projects. I enjoy learning from some of the most experienced Polish water engineers, while transferring our knowledge to the next generation of engineers. BartÅ‚omiej recognizes that the more our people learn on the job and through training, the more effective they become in delivering our projects and meeting the clients’ expectations. In his role, BartÅ‚omiej also makes sure project deliverables meet the requirements of Polish procedures, and our team are able to deliver on time, with deliverables prepared correctly the first time and as a result - within budget. One more reason to be a proud CH2Mer! “Managing and supervising work on such a large and complex project as Wroclaw floodway modernization program requires great communication and alignment among the client and consortium partners. There is nothing better than feeling that we are doing a great job and making a real difference for the city and its inhabitants.” adds BartÅ‚omiej.
