Dorota Zuchara

Biography

As the Project Delivery Lead, Dorota Zuchara leads the industrial department of our Global Design Centre in Krakow, Poland and connects the dots to communicate effectively with colleagues around the world.  Managing international projects and interdisciplinary teams requires deep knowledge and application of CH2M’s project delivery system. Dorota brings her 19 years of environmental engineering and project management experience to make the right decisions regarding technical approaches, cost, scheduling and performance as well as solving problems requiring soft skills. She also liaises with clients and her management counterparts in other CH2M offices.  Since joining CH2M in 1996, Dorota has had numerous opportunities to progress her career. Hired first as a designer’s assistant with our water team, she worked on projects for municipal clients. As our company grew in Poland, she transferred to the industrial department helping us to further expand the office and strengthen our contacts with international colleagues.  When I joined the company we had a team of three people. I have seen us grow year after year to currently exceed 300 employees in Poland! Over these years I have enjoyed CH2M’s approach to people the most. I had the opportunity to take part in many internal trainings, travelled to distant project locations, work with my U.S. peers and met our CEO in person. With new technologies, we can collaborate very easily, and be involved in projects that we wouldn’t otherwise have a chance to work on locally. Despite large distances, I feel we are a team of very energetic CH2Mers who are always supportive of each other!
