Biography
I have over 10 years of experience working in environmental science with a focus on wetland ecology and am a Professional Biologist and a qualified wetland science practitioner. Currently, I work as a Senior Wetland Scientist at CH2M Hill, provide deliverables and services for our clients including provincial and federal environmental permitting, environmental impact assessments, technical reporting based on desktop review and field work, wetland mapping, wetland identification and classification and environmental mitigation recommendations for future and existing developments. Projects I have experience with include linear developments (pipelines, powerlines), wind farms, urban watershed management plans and facility site developments. I have extensive experience conducting field work in urban to rural to remote landscapes and am well rounded in my field skills that include knowledge in general environmental science, wetlands, wildlife and vegetation. I work as a senior consultant within multi-disciplinary teams, juggle multiple priorities and tight timelines as a consultant, and am successful in meeting the expectations and needs of my colleagues and clients. I work as part of a diverse team and provide mentorship to junior and intermediate colleagues.
