Biography
Although he’s only a few years into his career as a civil engineer, Mohammed is a globetrotter. A Saudi national currently based in Riyadh, some of his earliest moments with CH2M took place in London. Even now, back in the Kingdom, he’s worked on projects all throughout the region, and has had a hand in many others across the world in support of CH2M’s clients. Mohammed joined CH2M as a new graduate in 2013, and quickly began working on major projects both at home and abroad, including the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology program in Thuwal and the CP5 Kent Station Repair project in the UK. He currently works on the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) program in Riyadh, supporting Project Managers in the areas of estimation, project control and close-out as they construct and expand industrial cities in Saudi Arabia. Mohammed says that the best part of his role is having the chance to continue learning. “I didn’t have much practical experience when I first started at CH2M, and thanks to the projects I’ve worked on and people I’ve met, I now have a solid background in mechanical and electrical engineering alongside civil engineering.” He mentions, “I love working with professionals from all over the world. At CH2M you get the chance to do just that in an environment that encourages you to face challenges and learn from experts who are also your teammates. No matter who you are – your name, your background, your nationality – the effort you put into your work at CH2M will be appreciated by everyone around you. You’ll always see results for your hard work.” New experiences and the chance to grow energize Mohammed and impact his work in such a positive way, and it’s why we’re especially proud to have him as part of the CH2M family.
