Niharika Singal

Biography

Niharika is a champion of generations to come. In her role as a Structural Engineer, she designs structures to meet the current and future needs of communities across India and the Middle East. She joined CH2M in March 2015, and quickly began working on major projects across India and the Middle East. In her work, Niharika has the opportunity to transform flyovers, underpasses and bridges from blueprints to standing structures to further develop local businesses and communities. She is currently helping to develop the infrastructure for the Dubai Expo 2020, which will bring together over 180 nations and over 25 million visitors when it’s complete. As a female working in a predominantly male-dominated industry, Niharika is happy that CH2M’s inclusive and diverse culture promotes knowledge and talent over gender. She advises young women just beginning their engineering careers to learn from those around them – but most importantly, to believe in themselves. “Be confident in yourself and the level of work you are capable of producing and you will never feel unsure about being a female engineer,” she said. Niharika embraces all challenges that come her way, and that is why we’re especially proud to have her as part of the CH2M family.
