Susannah Kerr Adler

Biography

Transit is not just Susannah Kerr Adler’s career focus, it’s an integral part of her life. Playing in the world of urban architecture for almost three decades, she’s passionate about promoting sustainability, connecting communities and creating vibrant cities. A pioneer of her industry, she’s helped transit agencies and organizations, like the American Public Transportation Association, broaden their sustainability conversations to include state of good repair, social equity and potential environmental impacts. As her professional path honed in on public transport, Susannah realized she missed collaborating on a large team and in a cross-cutting infrastructure environment. Eager to re-establish those connections, she joined CH2M to lead our Transit & Rail team’s architecture and sustainability practices in the Americas. Susannah is also serving as client manager for the District of Columbia Department of Transportation, partnering to enhance mobility in the nation’s capital. She adds, “I love to merge disciplines and work across boundaries, so finding the best fit among so many possibilities across our company excites me.”   Facilitating a better community and improved quality of life is at the heart of Susannah’s passion and that’s one of the many reasons we’re excited that she’s part of the CH2M family.
