Biography
Mr. Bottrill is a geological consultant in mineral exploration and mine development with almost 50 years of experience. He has undertaken fieldwork on every continent except Antarctica and has held corporate positions including Director of Exploration where he has been responsible for gold, silver and copper discoveries and mines. In the 1980's and 1990's he was very involved in several exploration projects in the Kirkland Lake district, including the discovery of the Amalgamated Kirkland, a deposit currently being drilled by Kirkland Lake Gold Mines. From 2006 through 2012 he was a lecturer in geology at the University of Toronto Mississauga and is currently the Industry Liaison for the Department of Earth Sciences, University of Toronto.
