Biography
As Chief Administrative Officer, Sheri is responsible for Chartwell’s strategic planning and analysis cycle, the smooth operation of the management information systems, as well as oversight of the property finance team and business project management office. Sheri joined Chartwell Retirement Residences as the Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration in September 2007. Prior to joining Chartwell, Sheri held progressive positions of responsibility with Retirement Residences Real Estate Investment Trust (“RRRâ€) including Senior Vice President, Finance, and Director of Corporate Accounting. Sheri received her CA designation in 1996 while working for KPMG as a Senior Accountant and in 1997 she started her own consulting business providing corporate accounting and tax services in both Canada and the US. Sheri volunteered for the Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA) from 2005 to 2013, sitting on the Board of Directors and chairing the Financial Liaison Committee from 2010 to 2013.
