Biography
Dennis Fisher was elected to the Agricultural Adaptation Council (AAC) board of directors in 2016. He is one of two Livestock representatives on the board. Dennis and his wife have farmed in the Elmwood area for over 30 years. The have a 600 commercial ewe flock and a 40 cow-calf beef herd. They also grow hay, corn and mixed grain for their operation. Dennis recently completed his position as Chairman of the Ontario Sheep Marketing Agency (OSMA) Board of Directors. He has been a member of the OSMA board of directors for the last 9 years and is currently on the organization’s Finance Committee. He has also been elected as a Director-at-Large to the Canadian Sheep Federation’s Finance Committee.
