Biography
Dr. Bhowmick joined the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering at Concordia University in 2011. He received his Ph.D. degree in Civil (Structural) Engineering from University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, M.A.Sc. degree in Civil (Structural) Engineering from University of Windsor, Windsor, Ontario, Canada and B.Sc. degree (with Honours) in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Research Interest
Dr. Bhowmick's research interests include Seismic design and analysis of steel and concrete structures, Seismic retrofit and rehabilitation of existing structures, and Bridge engineering.
