The agriculture sector will be facing both challenges and opportunities as the population of the planet increases, projected to be 9.6 billion by 2050. This sector, from farm to fork, is a huge industry. Conexus has an opportunity to align and be an important part of Saskatchewan’s agricultural future. With the unsettled markets in the United States some risks facing Conexus in the next few years are, possible fluctuations in agriculture, industrial and energy commodities, interest rate risks due to unsettled markets, equity risks due to unsettled stocks and currency risks due to the unsettled Canadian versus U.S. dollar.
