Benn Mikula

Biography

Mr. Benn Mikula serves as a Co-Chief Executive Officer at Cordiant Capital Inc. He was Managing Partner. Mr. Mikula is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Cheverny Capital Inc., Investment Arm. He serves as the Managing Partner of Cheverny Capital Inc. He is a Senior Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Advisory Board of CloudOps. He was also a Founding Director of Coradiant. He joined Miralta Capital Inc. from Frontiers Capital Partners LLP, where he served as a Consultant. Prior thereto, he served as the Managing Director and Head of European Technology Investment Banking for J.P. Morgan & Co. Inc., where he was particularly active in M&A work with a variety of private equity firms and global technology corporations. His transaction experience included fundraising and advisory work for companies such as Alcatel, Ericsson, Nokia and Philips. Prior to JPMorgan, he held a number of positions at RBC Dominion Securities. He served as an Equity Analyst at RBC Capital Markets, LLC, Research Division, TD Securities Equity Research and Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., Research Division. He served as the Managing Director and Head of Technology Equities Research and Director at RBC Capital Markets LLC. He also developed Whistler Technology and Media & Telecoms Conference. He was for many years a top-ranked Equity Analyst. He served as the President of the Acorn Society, a Special Advisor to the Shadow Cabinet of State for Homeland Security (U.K. Parliament) and a patron of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He founded and served as a Director of three technology companies. He served as a Managing Director, Head of Technology Equities Research and Director of RBC Dominion. During his time at RBC Dominion Securities, he worked closely with firms such as Nortel, Newbridge Networks, Mitel and Research in Motion. He joined the board of MegaBrands (MB - TSX) to work on that company's successful financial restructuring, resigning as a director in 2013. He serves as a Director of Sanimax Industries Inc. He has served on the fundraising boards of the Montreal Neurological Hospital & Institute, the Montreal Childrens' Hospital, Heritage Montreal and the RSC. He served as a Director of Mega Brands Inc. since June 30, 2009 until 2013 to work on that company's successful financial restructuring. He was a Director of vXchnge Operating LLC. He has 19 years of experience in financial markets and 17 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. Mr. Mikula holds a Master of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University.
