Biography
Mr. Jean-François Sauvé is the Co-Chief Executive Officer at Cordiant Capital Inc. He was Managing Partner. Mr. Sauvé is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Cheverny Capital Inc. and Cheverny Capital Inc., Investment Arm. Prior to co-founding Cheverny Capital, he served as the President at Pictet Canada L.P., where he was responsible for the North American operations of Pictet & Cie. Mr. Sauvé began his career Barclays Bank in the Foreign Exchange, Money Market and Corporate Banking departments. He subsequently joined McLeod Young Weir Limited (now ScotiaMcLeod Inc.) and in 1993, became a Director of the Corporate and Government Finance Department. He is also a principal advisor to a European family office. Past affiliations include Héritage Montréal, and Montréal Passion Vin (Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Foundation). Mr. Sauvé sits on the board of the Nature Conservancy of Canada (Québec Region), and Fondation du Festival de Lanaudière. He is Chairman of the Jeanne Sauvé Foundation and President of the Sauvé Scholars Foundation. Mr. Sauvé has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. Mr. Sauvé earned an M.B.A. at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and completed his degree in Business Administration at l’école des Hautes études Commerciales (HEC Montréal).
