Biography
With more than 20 years in the film and television industry, Michelle brings an unparalleled breadth and depth of production experience to Corkscrew Media. Michelle’s formal film training began in 1990 at the National Film Board (NFB) of Canada. Michelle’s production credits cross all formats, from television movies of the week (MOW’s) to feature documentaries and arts performances. Highlights include the award winning dramatic mini-series "Into the West," Executive Produced by Steven Spielberg for TNT/Dreamwork and MOW’s “Surviving Love” starring Ted Danson and Mary Steenbergen for CBS and “The Life and Death of Nancy Eaton,” produced by Bernard Zuckerman for CTV. Most recently Michelle served as Business Affairs Manager on the feature length documentary co-production with the National Film Board, "Legend of a Warrior", which was screened at the prestigious Hot Docs International Documentary Festival. Currently Michelle works as the Business Affairs Manager at Corkscrew where she oversees all contracting and legal aspects of the television specials and series produced by Corkscrew Media. She was recently appointed Head of the Feature Film Division.
