Biography
Mr. Steven Peter served as Vice President of Development & Exploration at CEC North Star Energy Ltd. Mr. Peter has been Vice President of Exploration at Cougar Oil and Gas Canada Inc. since January 2010. Mr. Peter served as Vice President of Exploration of Kodiak Energy Inc., since December 2008. Mr. Peter is a professional geologist with over 25 years of diversified experience in the Canadian oil and gas industry. For 10 years, he has worked for small to medium-sized companies including Koch Exploration Canada Corporation, Compton Petroleum Corporation, Infiniti Resources International and G2 Resources Inc. He has a broad range of geological expertise in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. His proven ability to find oil and gas and has identified many of the comparable projects and drilled the first wells on those projects. He served as a Director of CEC North Star Energy Ltd. He is a Member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) and the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists. Mr. Peter graduated from McMaster University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology.
