Biography
Barb Cannon has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Biology from Dalhousie University. She started learning the ropes at Creative Salmon when she was hired as a Farm Technician in 2002. For several years she worked hard to learn all the different aspects of the Biology department, preparing her for her current role as Biology Manager. It is Barb's job to ensure that we are supplying superior quality salmon to our customers and to oversee the health and welfare of Creative Salmon's current and future Chinook salmon stocks. In 2011, Barb received the Leadership award from the Positive Awareness of Aquaculture (PAA) Society acknowledging her efforts and actions demonstrating leadership and mentorship.
