Biography
Peter Griffiths graduated from Vancouver Island University’s Fisheries and Aquaculture Program in 1987 and began his career in salmon farming at Sea Spring Hatchery in Chemainus soon after. He has worked at both freshwater and saltwater aquaculture sites and became Sea Spring Hatchery supervisor in the early 1990s. When Creative Salmon purchased the hatchery in 2009, Peter assumed the role of Hatchery Manager. Peter feels privileged to work with such a dedicated and talented team, both at the freshwater and saltwater operations, and is very proud of the product Creative Salmon produces.
