Alan L. Mckinnon Jr.

Biography

Alan has more than 20 years experience working for an array of high tech companies in various disciplines. Most recently he was the Chief Financial Officer of Vietnam- Chipscale Advanced Packaging Services a start up semiconductor outsource assembly and test company in Vietnam. Prior to joining V-CAPS, Alan was a Partner at The Garrett Group Technology, LLC, a firm focused on equipment financing for the semiconductor and other related industries with specific emphasis in the Asia Pacific region. Alan had joined The Garrett Group from Varian Semiconductor where as Corporate Treasurer he was part of the team which took the Company public. Alan has been the CFO of East Asia Ventures LLC, CFO of Prodigy International Inc., and Assistant Treasurer of Connell Limited Partnership. Alan has also held several positions with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. In addition to the aforementioned positions Alan has been and is a financial advisor to a number of renewable energy companies particular those focused on Biomass and Wind. Alan holds a MBA from Babson College, with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Ventures and International Business, and a BSBA from the School of Management at Boston University with a concentration in Finance and Economics. He also holds, and has held, leadership positions with several professional and non-profit organizations
