Eelco Bergman

Biography

Eelco is a 25+ year semiconductor industry veteran with extensive senior management and international business experience. Most recently he provided business development, strategic marketing, and operations management consulting services to a variety of semiconductor and high technology companies while in parallel working as a founding member and the SVP of Sales & Marketing for V-CAPS, a greenfield IC assembly & test manufacturing services company project. Previously, Eelco spent fourteen years with Amkor Technology, a global $2.5B+ provider of semiconductor manufacturing services, where he served as their SVP of strategic marketing and business development. In this position he was responsible for leading Amkor's global emerging business and OEM sales & marketing activities. During his tenure at Amkor Mr. Bergman also served as Amkor's SVP of Asia Sales with a specific emphasis on Korea, Taiwan, greater China, and south east Asia. Before joining Amkor he spent four years bringing up and managing manufacturing operations for Eurasem, BV, a start up subcontract IC package & test company based in the Netherlands, and four years in various engineering management positions with Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho. Eelco received his Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
