Biography
Nelson has over 18 years experience in the semiconductor industry. Most recently, Nelson served as research and development director at Traxon Technologies, Ltd., of Hong Kong after spending several years as a company founder and vice president of engineering at CT Electronics LTD, also in Hong Kong. Previously, Nelson held positions as the general manager of manufacturing and vice president of packaging development at the Hong Kong factory of ASAT Holdings LTD, a subcontract semiconductor assembly and test company. Nelson holds of a series of U.S. patents for in the area of semiconductor packaging and related technologies. Nelson’s technical skills and management experience provide Cyrium with the operational and business development support expertise necessary in the Asia Pacific region. Focus on working with Cyrium’s supply chain partners, pursuing technology options, supporting Chinese and other Asian customers, and expanding the company’s overall business presence in Asia are all part of Nelson’s responsibilities. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
